I was fortunate enough to receive a FREE copy of Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income by Darren Rowse of ProBlogger and Chris Garrett of ChrisG.com. So naturally I read the book myself, and now I am ready to enrich the life of one lucky individual, with a free copy of the book.
Brief Summary of the Book
For those that don’t know, the authors of this book are known for making insane amounts of money through the course of their blogging and some what paving the way for many bloggers. With great success come even more opportunities and that is exactly what this book is.
As a feed subscriber to ProBlogger for quite some time, I felt like this book was a best of for the site. It seemed like a refresher course almost.
According to the back of the book you learn how to:
- Choose subject matter that works for you
- Handle technical issues
- Examine different ways your blog can earn income
- Evaluate your blog’s success
- Keep content fresh and interesting
- User your blog to generate income indirectly
and that is exactly what the book accomplishes.
Essentially the book is a step by step guide for blogging. They teach you everything from researching what to blog about, to creating the site, to finally making money off of it. Basically like a “Blogging for Dummies” book. It is a great resource for people looking to enter or just entered the game. The last half of the book is satisfying for any level.
Overall this book is a pretty easy and straight to the point read. Although it is broken up into chapters, every page is basically set up like different blog post (almost grabbed directly from their sites). There are also pictures for those reading impaired.
