Vegas Then and Now
I love everything to do with real estate and I especially like to see the history of popular places, such as Las Vegas. I came across this interesting slide show on msnbc.com -Vegas then and now. It tracks the time frame of when people first came to Vegas to work on the Union Railroad to being able to get on a ride that flings you off the edge of a hotel building and back on. I will never get on that ride.

No this picture is not a representation of the Las Vegas real estate market. Can you imagine that used to be Vegas? I mean obviously it wasn’t full of casinos forever, but wow.

That’s great! It’s amazing how things change. I always wonder what a neighborhood with 100 year old buidlings looked like when the buildings were being put up. I mean, they didn’t even really have roads for cars back then. They surely weren’t paved, yet they were putting in concrete foundations and tall brick buildings.
