Ugly, Risky, Scary… Profitable? – VG

You might of seen the headlines and stories about this lawsuit magnet company, Vonage (VG). There is no need to breakdown the numbers. All you need to know is that this company is going down and all numbers are terrible. They are already down over 500% from the 52 week high, and being sued by almost every telecom stock.

As debated by many different analyst, it is very clear that there are two ways this stock can go. Vonage can decide to call it a day or hope some big player will buy them. Obviously these are not the best choices people want to live with. On one hand you could potentially lose all your investment or you can make a quick buck.

I have to admit that I am customer of Vonage, and I, personally, have never had any problems with it, but I have also never tried anything other then just the regular phone line telephone. Also I am not an expert on the million of different patent breaches Vonage has been accused of.

Some analysts are predicting a 40% chance of bankruptcy, while others have predicted that the stock might go up a couple cents. Either way it is basically a flip of a coin to determine which way this company will go, and when it will happen. So is it an ugly, risky, and scary? Yeah, but could it be profitable? Maybe, but who knows when. If you could figure that out, then you might be able to make a quick gain, with not too much capital invested, but first you may have to get past this chart.
