Performanc Reports:
Holdings Breakdown:
APPLE - AAPL
A best of breed. Apple has the ability to post solid numbers regardless of the economy. Slowly but surely Apple is winning over the market share. With great products such as the ipod and iphone, it results in users adapting other Apple products. As this generation continues to grow, we only see a higher increase in market share and apple products assimilating into areas other than just personal use.
Through technical analysis we see Apple fresh off a bounce of its 200 day moving average. The potential upward trend give us a current price target of $200.
Bank of America - BAC
Are we crazy? Maybe, but we can't help but start a position in Bank of America at its current level. By no means are we trying to call a bottom, but how much lower can one of the biggest banks really go? We'll take our chances here.
Chesapeake Energy Corp - CHK
As the United States continues to focus on oil supply/demand issues, it will be a constant effort for companies such as Chesapeake to continue search for alternatives and new sources. Their specialization in natural gas is benefited as people are trying to find solutions to the current oil crisis.
Since 2008, Chesapeake has been on a tear. It rapidly increased its upward momentum. After topping out at $74, the stock is posed to break back upwards. We look for a quick target of $66; however, expect to move higher.
Caterpillar - CAT
Whenever you survey a construction site, 99% of the time there will be machines with CAT running across them. As we draw closer to the more severe part of hurricane season, the machinery will be needed to fix and repair demaged structures.
After examining the chart, CAT seems to have bottomed out. Resistance could be met at $74.79; otherwise, expect a nice target of $78.
Nike - NKE
With the help of the Olympics and their innovative creation of the Hyperdunk (lightest basketball shoe ever created), Nike’s already huge global exposure should continue to rise. Also as kids head back to school and sports kick back into full gear, Nike should look for a strong upcoming quarter. We also can't overlook the excellence they have aligned themselves with.
After examining the chart, NKE seems to have rounded out from its coming down of the 52 week high.. Resistance could be met at $62 level; otherwise, expect a nice target of $70. See full explanation here.
