The Lazy Trader’s Guide To Stock Trading

If you have ever visited sites like Bloomberg and MarketWatch or watched television channels like CNBC, then you probably noticed that they always have the same people talking about their respective fields. Even many investment firms have specific individuals or groups that only track a small list of stocks.

Well, if the big players can do this, then why not you?

Usually because the individual trader only has so much money, we don’t normally think about specializing in a particular sector, but what if you could know every little thing about the stocks you follow?

If you have ever spent anytime on Twitter tracking those that like to trade stocks, then you might have realized that lot of these people usually talk about a small bundle of stocks or a specific sector.

If you don’t know what a watch list is or how to even use one, then you should learn quickly.

With stock screeners and other services that allow us to find several stocks in a matter of seconds, it is very easy to try and find the best new play everyday, but even then you never really know what is going on with this company… What are their patterns? What makes this particular entity pop or drop?

By tracking a small group of stocks or becoming an expert on a particular sector, we can effectively make stock trading a whole lot easier.

Just like human interaction, the more time you spend with somebody the more you can predict what they are going to do. With more time, things become predictable. You know what will happen next, and the same can go for stocks.

Now, I’m not saying you need to follow the same stocks for the rest of your trading life. As time goes on, some stocks will drop from your list and others will be added, but soon you will able to predict their movements and cash out.

Find out how to predict price movement for stocks on your watch list.
