I was running a scan to pull back stocks that have seen at least a 100% return year-to-date. To my surpass, Dominos Pizza (DPZ) popped up on the list. I decided to do a little more digging to see that many similar restaurant type companies have been having a great year (i.e. McDonalds (MCD), Yum Brands (YUM), and Papa John’s (PZZA)).
Lesson 1: Performing a simple scan for stocks can result in awesome trading opportunities – see where the light is.
Lesson 2: I guess people need to eat whether poor or rich.
