Super Bowl Makes Money for All

Since I like money and the Super Bowl, I thought I would conduct a little research and find out exactly what type of money the Super Bowl bring in. What many people overlook is that the Super Bowl makes money for many different people.

Lets first look at the winners…

It is pretty obvious that the winners would make money. Besides getting a huge ring, many of the Giants (Super Bowl winners) also got paid as of last night. Look for Eli Manning to be in more commercials then Peyton Manning, and I am sure the whole defensive line will be covered in endorsement deals. The Giants as a whole also will make tons of money of memorabilia and whatever else they will be able to sell.

About them 72 Dolphins…

Because the Giants won, Reebok was able to air their new commercial that basically showed the Dolphins were still undefeated. Besides the commercial being able to air, the revenue these teammates make from appearance stayed alive. If they Patriots had won, then the fees would have been cut in half. The commercial is below.

Hosting City…

It was estimated that visitors for the Super Bowl spend on average $600 per day. Whether it be food, hotel, or memorabilia every business in the area will probably not be in the red for the entire year.

Gamblers…

Anybody who bet on the Giants to win got mad money. For every $100 bet, the gambler would receive $400.

The Manning Family…

Wow. To have three NFL quarterbacks in the same family, and then to also have two Super Bowl MVPs. That is just crazy. It is no doubt, that the family companies will try to get the family as a whole to be in endorsements and commercials. On top of that, if they want to, they can now easily raise the price of membership to their football camps and it will still easily be sold out.
