LVLT, OXGN, HAL, BAC I’m Stocking Them

One of my favorite parts of technical analysis is when a stock is right at the edge of finishing its setup. The stock is basically sitting at a fork in the road, and now its time to see if it takes the right one.

The following are a few stocks that have caught my eye…

Level 3 Communications (LVLT) - A nice pullback setup is forming here. You can see its last jump higher came on volume way higher than normal. Through profit-taking or some other form, we will probably see the stock come back down a little. If that volume is low, then look for it to spike back up to $1.30 area.

Level 3 Communications

Oxigene (OXGN) – Been holding on to this stock for a couple days now at $1.85. Dependent on the nice rounded bottom, RSI, and stochastics, it seems like this stock wants to push higher. At its current point, I have a stop at $1.70.

Oxigene

Haliburton (HAL) – Looks like a nice cup and handle is just about complete in formation. A break above the top blue line should signify a could 3 point jump.

Haliburton

Bank of America (BAC) – Another stock that I have been holding for some time at $11.55. A couple days ago it looked like this stock wanted to break out of its triangle pattern, but signs seem to be pointing the other way now. RSI and stochastic pointing to head lower. Depending on your risk, I would put a stop at $11.50. If you can take a little more of a chance, then I would put the stop at $11.

Still Buying LVLT, see lots more potential. Buying through $2 pps.
  • I hope you have a long-term time frame cause it looks awfully close to dipping below the 200 day moving average which wouldn't be good.
