Stock Watch 11/6/07 - EMC, CSCO, VVC

Here are some things that I am looking at today.
EMC Corp (EMC)
- Getting downgraded yesterday has hurt this stock price a little bit, but I see it has a chance to restate my position.
- Analyst still expect a strong quarter
- I see this more as a possible long term play

Cisco (CSCO)
- I am going to keep a close eye on CSCO and their earnings (Nov. 7). Depending on the how the stock reacts (goes up), then I might cut some of my position in the stock and wait for a pullback to buy back in. I am hoping CSCO will exceed expectations.
Vectren (VVC)
- This is just on my watch list right now, but it seems like a promising utilities/natural gas play.
- Upgraded from hold to buy by Citi (11/6/07) and price targets range from 30.50 - 33.
- Reported great 3Q numbers and boosted their guidance for 2008.

Ugh, CSCO killed me. I had been long, stopped me out with this brief market downturn. Then Boom! It’s up big today.
Good luck.
