Perhaps my success in pure technical analysis overshadowed the fact that Caterpillar (CAT) had such things called “earning report.” Had I not be so careless, then I probably would be writing from my yacht in the middle of the water right now. On the bright side, at least I didn’t lose any money.

From the technical analysis, I saw potential in a rise, but didn’t seem to confident in it (so I wasn’t completely wrong).

LESSON LEARNED: Keep your eyes open and remember earning reports.

While we are at it, I think I completely missed on Google (GOOG)… yeaaahhh… WOW!! Yeah, no excuse here. I completely missed.

LESSON LEARNED: I’m a moran, and now I know why I never short. It is easier to predict a rise, than a fall in my opinion.
