Its Like Picking from a Candy Shop

Feb 26th, 2008 | By TheWild1 | Category: Financial Markets

Oh man, is this just the kind of market you love to be in or not? It seems like no matter what stock I choose, they all just keep rising and rising. In just two days, I have already recouped all the losses I had through February and added great profits on top of that.

I recently stated the frustration I was experiencing with the stock market, but it is runs like these that bring it all back to normal. Before I could not even find a simple set-up. It all looked foreign to me. Now, suddenly everything is just popping out at me. Stocks are just slapping me left and right to buy, buy, buy.

However, I have also made some changes to my game. I currently do not hold the stocks as long as I used to. The patience is just not there anymore. Now at the sign of profit I jump at it, to make sure it is mine. I guess you can say I am day trading a little more. My entry and exit plans have also become more structured and I don’t edit them as much, while they are in the works.

So for the time being, the frustration I experienced seems to be one of the best things that could of happened right now. It helped me refocus and realize what I needed to do. Perhaps I was getting too lazy, the game was getting redundant, or it was just time for a change. Whatever it was, let the games continue…

Now to go find that piece of wood to knock on.

  1. Congrats on the wins. I have not had your success of late. I think my problem is just a lack of focus/interest. I see lots of patterns, but I have pulled the trigger on very few.

  2. yeah my problem was lack of focus/interest also and I couldn’t even see any patterns

  3. Good stuff what stocks did you end up trading?

  4. All my positions were in cat, cree, and aks. CAT I have been holding for a while, AKS for a couple days, and CREE was just a one day breakout. Right now I am just holding on to CAT.
