My Daily Routine
Jonathan, over at A Trade A day, sparked the idea in my head to inform readers of my daily routine. This doesn’t include when I have meetings or any other special events that occur every so often during the week. So here we go (I’ll try to estimate the timing of everything):

11 A.M: Wake up
If I don’t have any early appointments or something special happening with the stock market, then I am fortunate to get up around this time to the sweet sounds of Skip Bayless on ESPN’s First Take.
11 A.M - 12 P.M: Check e-mail, stock market, and sites
It is all pretty self explanatory, and I try to keep it all under an hour, but on many occasions I might go over the hour limit. During this time, I am just making sure that the unexpected hasn’t happened. I am trying to make sure everything is running smoothly and my holdings are in line with what I want. I also enjoy a bite or two to keep the brain juices flowing.
12 P.M - 2 P.M: Work out
You got to keep your body healthy and in shape, so I make sure to get some form of work out done, whether it is playing a pick up game of basketball at the gym or lifting the weights. Depending on what I am doing, I might switch this period, with the next one because more people come to play basketball a little later.
2 P.M - 6 P.M: Work and research
Much of the heavy stuff, during my day, happens during this time. This is when I write some posts for my sites, and do research on stocks and other possible investments. It might sound boring to some, but I enjoy it.
6 P.M - 11 P.M: Dinner, television, and anything else
This is not to say I don’t do any work during this time because lot of times I do, but this time frame usually consist of me taking care of my dog, eating, and watching television (especially when the Lakers or Lost is on).
11 P.M - 3/4 ish A.M: ???
I don’t really know how to classify this section because so many different things can happen (mostly with Nick at Night in the background). I work, surf the internet, even warm up the good old 360. Basically there is a lot of multi-tasking going on. I try to go to sleep earlier, but, for some reason, the clock just moves too fast. I usually get to bed around 3 or 4 A.M.
So there you have it. That is an average Monday - Friday for me in a nutshell. Many people often ask how I can have such an easy day, but the key is to simplify and create a solid routine. Write down what your current schedule is like and see what you can move around or get rid of. Granted lot of people have actual 9 - 5 jobs, so that time is already used up. Although I am not restricted to a specific time during the day, it is safe to say that I work around 8 hours a day too, but I have the ability to spread it throughout the day and I enjoy it.
What are your days like? Do you enjoy them? What changes do you think you could make?
