More Reasons the Airlines Don’t Care About YOU
As I mentioned a couple weeks back, airlines can basically do whatever they want.
Need more proof?
Well how about the fact that now numerous airlines are considering charging passengers for checked luggage.
Who started all this talk?
None other than good old American Airlines. In a plan to try and increase their revenue, American is planning to cut flights and charge passengers more fees which could total up to hundreds of million of dollars in annual revenue. Each passenger will get one free checked luggage, but additional bags could cost $25 plus/per.
Who is really behind it?
It is no secret that the hike in oil is undoubtedly making the cost of living that much higher, so companies are required to do such things in order to try and offset the changes.
With one airline beginning a new tradition, it is only a matter of time before others follow. Just look at Northwest Airlines Corp. Moreover, just imagine how much longer security lines will be because of the increase in carry on luggage.

It just gets worse and worse. If you haven’t guessed by now… STAY AWAY!
