- PepsiCo [[PEP]] feeling the competition from Coco Cola’s [[KO]] Vitamin Water, is looking to revive their Gatorade brand by unleashing their new sports drink G2, a lower-calorie alternative sports drink. Estimated to be in stores in early 2008.
- Movie Gallery Inc. [[MOVI]] will file for bankruptcy this month. Movie rental outlets have really begun to take a hit.
- Bungie (creators of the pop culture dynasty Halo 3) has become independent from Microsoft. Halo 3 brought in $300 million in its first week.
- SAP [[SAP]] to buy Business Objects [[BOBJ]] for $6.8 billion, $59. 35 per share
- YUM! Brands [[YUM]] to report Q3 earnings of $0.45 EPS compared to $0.42 last year. Disclaimer: I love KFC
