I was just looking at charts and came across the Dow Industrial Average chart at 1 year time span. Apparently the Dow Industrial Average (INDU) has experienced 0% gain in a 1 year time span. On February 4, 2007 the close was 12,635.49 and yesterday (Feb. 4, 2008) the close was 12,635.16. I am not necessarily surprised at the 0% gain, but how close the prices was were in a 1 year time span.
Compare that to the return the INDU experienced over the past 5 years and you can definitely see a huge slow down.
Scared? Maybe you should be… or not.
