I couldn’t do it - EMC, VMW

I recently stated that I was out and done with EMC, however, I guess I lied. My heart pulled me back into the stock.

I was about to pull the trigger, but I realized that I wasn’t 100% ready to sell my position, so instead I cut it in half. I am not sure yet where the newly free capital will go, but I plan to eventually put it back into EMC.

My change of heart came after they reported their own numbers. Apparently investors felt alright with that, but not with VMware. Anyways the numbers helped regain some of the losses EMC experienced during after-hours.

New Plan

So now with my smaller position of EMC, I will continue to watch the stock. If the stock goes up from here, then good for me. On the other hand, if the stocks continues to go lower ($13-14ish) then I will re-enter the other half I just sold. If it falls below that level, then I am most likely definitely out of there.

Although it has already been a longer play then I had anticipated, I expect to play EMC a little bit a longer. At least till next reporting period.
