Get the Loan you Deserve

It is no secret that everybody wants to be able to get a loan for that house, car, or whatever it might be and not have to pay such a high interest rate, but not everybody always has a squeaky clean credit score. For those low scorers, there are some methods that can help you get that loan you want. (If you are unsure what credit score is, then take a second to learn it here).

Credit Score

Don’t be shy to ask

I have heard about this first method over and over again. If you are having difficulty with the payment plans, then don’t be shy to ask your lender to negotiate and new payment plan. Apparently most lenders will be more then happy to create a new plan as long as they know you are making the effort to pay them back. It cost them more to go after you then to negotiate. So don’t think of it has a favor for you, but rather you saving money for the lender.

If the plan is revised make sure that the appropriate bureaus are notified and the proper changes are made on the important documents.

Pay more if you can

Some people may not know this, but there is no penalty for paying a loan back early. As funny has it may sound, there are people I know that were unaware of this. If you are able to pay more then the required minimum for a payment then pay it. The faster a loan is paid off then the better it is for your score.

Get rid of unnecessary store cards

I can’t tell you how many times I see my friends with unused and non-useful store cards. Although these cards usually allow you to reap some sort of benefit, the more open accounts you have the lower your score will be. Make sure to get rid of these unnecessary cards as soon as possible. In the end you will save more money and stress from the amount of bills you must pay then the amount of benefits you could receive from these cards.

Conclusion

Although a low score can seem like the end of the world, there are many different methods that can be used to improve your credit. It will take time, but if you stay disciplined and make sure to take on loans you know you can pay back your score will rise.

Further Commentary

Everyone likes interest free credit cards, but the only interest free saving system is perhaps your piggy bank. Keep that in mind while arranging for your car finance. A personal loan may seem an answer, but it does not fall into the category of secured loans, which clearly depicts investment risks. This is something you should remember the next time you pay your annual premium on dental insurance with your visa card.

Excellent webpage! I gave it a thumbs up with stumble and I Digged It too! Very informative and helpful about credit!
On that same subject I’d want to tell everyone about a company called Credit Assistance Network (in Florida) that helped me improve my credit scores. They were great! They didn’t remove everything negative but they did remove most of it. Even more importantly they gave me excellent advice to help me build my credit scores.

The website is http://www.creditagenda.com or http://www.expert-credit-advice.com

They did such a great job that I promised them I would tell everyone about them. Tell them Jim from Ohio recommended them!
