Coach a Buy?

October 22nd, 2008 | Filed under: Stock Recommendations, ,

In a time when money is so tight, you might almost be crazy for considering even venturing into the retail sector; however, we have to remember that many of the people hurting right now are those in the lower to middle class population. While demand should still be lowered, it may not be as harsh as other companies in this sector.

Coach (COH) has long been considered a top of the line stock in its sector. Constantly outperforming its peers, it is no wonder Coach somehow managed to report a profit while others did not. Much of the help came from its strong global exposure.

You may remember my rambling about picking “best of breed” stocks, well there is no better example than Coach.

Fresh off its 52-week low, Coach looks like an extremely good buy. While it could still potentially go down a little due to low demand this Christmas, buyers are almost guaranteed a 10-15 point jump at the current price, once the stock takes off.

Stocks will eventually move back up, but it does no good to you unless you have invested money into certain stocks. Make sure to keep a look out for solid plays, stay patient, and wait for the money to come flowing in.

Does Coach look like a buy to you?
