Burn Rubber – GT
… and that is exactly what I wanted to do today. I had to perform the horrible task of automotive maintenance by putting air in my tires. The only thing I know about cars is how to put gas in them. Although one time gas did spray all over me even though the pump said it was done. It took me a couple years to get over that…

Anyways, I went to an air pump right outside a Goodyear Tire Service center, which is very good by the way. So I thought I should check up on the stock of the tire company (GT).
On first look, the chart alone looks like a roller coaster; however, further research shows that the companies latest blunder came after announcing surges in profit and record sales. An even closer look shows us that this drop came at end of July 07 and beginning August 07 (I’m pretty sure we all remember what happened then).
Since then the stock has basically held steady. As we are heading into the winter season (less drivers on the road) I don’t see too much happening with this stock. The cycle could continue to hit the resistance, but until the stock gets to 32, then I don’t see any great opportunity to jump at this stock.
