  • Today is the infamous day known has Black Friday, a day the unofficially marks the holiday shopping season, but what do we really know about it?

    The term “Black Friday” has been coined since the 1960’s.

    “Black” refers to the idea that many go into the negative on this day.

    Name originated in Philadelphia to describe the heavy traffic on this day. A comparison of the mayhem that went down during the the stock crash known has Black Tuesday.

    Commonly mistaken for the bussiest shopping day of the year, but that day usually goes to the Saturday before Christmas.

    Many stores are found to be open 24 hours this day.
