Are Smart Phones Devouring Garmin?

I was cleaning my closet over the weekend and dug up a Garmin (GRMN) GPS I had bought 18 months ago (1 month prior to my iPhone). During this time I used the GPS two times and can’t even count for my iPhone. In short, the GPS has been collecting dust while the iPhone has been my navigation tool of choice.

Then it hit me… as smart phones continue to adapt, evolve, and ultimately provide excellent navigation features, what will happen to the sole navigation market?

Fundamentally I’m sure you can see what kind of problems this will be for any navigation maker. Looking at the technicals, specifically Garmin, there are possibilities that could easily bring this stock down to $20 with substantial shorting possiblities along the way.
