I am a frequent visitor of BloggingStocks.com and I noticed a link to AOL Money & Finance Beta, so I thought I would try it out.
At first glance I liked the overall feel of the site. I have never really used AOL’s finance site, but I could still tell it was a huge improvement.

Key Changes
- Scrolling Ticker: at the top of the page key stocks will be easy to keep track of
- Ease of News Information: in the old format news was more spread out, but they are combined into an easier tabbed interface with over 3,000 trusted sources
- Improved charts: the overall look of the chart alone is a huge enhancement, but now you are able to easily compare competitors and sectors
- Better research: in the new beta, it is very easy to find all those reports and filings that are always so tedious to find

I have only used it leisurely so far, so I haven’t discovered every little goodie; however, the coolest feature I have come across would be the return calculator. You can basically choose any date and it will calculate the return between selected date and current price. The interactive chart is pretty cool too.

Overall, it seems like a great update to people that already use AOL’s service. I might just use it every once and a while, but it is definitely worth a look. You should always be aware of what type of resources are available to you. So try it out.
