Whether you’re looking to trade around the clock, or just don’t have the time during normal market hours, you will always have the foreign exchange, commonly known as forex.
Forex is the largest electronic trading market in the world and is open 24 hours a day. Basically it allows you to trade currency based on what you think the value will be. For example, you can bet the US Dollar against the Euro.
Besides being opened 24 hours, what makes Forex unique is the huge leverage traders must take. By using leverage, traders can place big bets on margin at the chance of making huge returns in just a matter of minutes.
I’ve dabbled in and around Forex for some time now, and have had great experiences when I’ve taken a stab at it. With the leverage required it can be more risky than dealing with the normal stock market, but, with the simple forex trading system I’m about to share with you, it really couldn’t be easier.
What’s great about forex, especially if you’re already an avid technical trader, are that the methods are virtually the same. Even users of fundamental analysis, can transfer those skills over to the foreign exchange.
One common negative often referred to forex, is that it can’t be traded long-term, which is completely false. You can place a trade and walk away, and this forex trading system allows you to do just that.
I’ve already talked about how trading forex is similar to regular stock trading, and just like so currencies experience their ups and downs; however, the leveraging in forex seems to magnify those ups and downs. That being said, I’ve always preferred making money on one long trend, then quickly skimming in and out on every move. To me, it just seems easier and the way you want to make your money.
