5 Stocks To Cash In Before Year End – AKS, RIMM, NFLX, CLWR, JASO
Although we are in our second week of the holiday low volume trading, there are still some great plays out there.
AK Steel - AKS
AK Steel (AKS) made a nice move after testing the 200 SMA (red line) and bouncing higher. It seems to have broken that related resistance (now turned support) and testing it. Watch to see if support holds. A bounce is obviously good news, and a break below should be considered a selling opportunity.
Research In Motion – RIMM
Surprisingly, Research in Motion (RIMM) is still reporting some solid sales figures while many thought the other smart phones were running away with the competition; however, Blackberry will and should hold the corporate share for a while.
The stock is currently in a pullback formation and, if it follow suit of the previous setup, we could see this stock jump up to $72.
Netflix – NFLX
Netflix (NFLX) has been in this wedge for quite some time now, and we are testing the resistance of it. Both MACD and RSI are in somewhat bullish formations. Either look for a break or a bounce down and testing the support.
Clearwire – CLWR
Somewhat similar to the AK Steel play, Clearwire (CLWR) is treading above support and looking to test it. All the strategies are in play similar to AK Steel.
JA Solar – JASO
JA Solar (JASO) has made a huge move since finally getting off the 200 SMA. Both the MACD and RSI are now dipping a little, so we could see a minor pullback. Continue to watch and see if support holds at $5.75.
