Happy New Years

Just want to quickly wish a happy New Years to everybody. I will be on a plane coming back from India, so I am going to enjoy celebrating New Years multiple times.

Once I return we can get back to the usual business and start making some real money once again.

So enjoy the night and I will see you real soon.

Link Mash-up 16

Welcome to the December 28, 2007 edition of business/finance link mash-up. Another week, another Link Mash-up. Remember, if you have a story that you think is deserving to be on a Link Mash-up (comes out every Friday or Saturday), then submit your story through the blog carnival. Your story must have something to do with business, stocks , ventures, or making money.

Continuation India

I will be heading out to investigate some possible business ventures today or perhaps investors. Either way I will make sure to update you on everything once I return home. I will have enough time to lay everything out then. Posts will be pretty light in the next couple of days, but I should be back in full force once I return home from my trip.

I got so many great stories to catch you guys up on. In the mean time check up on all the sites in THE Blogroll:

Run an Open House

Before I left to India, I took part in a pretty cool money making opportunity.

open house

A Realtor in the neighborhood needed somebody to run a couple open houses for her. The hours could be Saturday and/or Sunday between 1 pm to 4 pm. Since I am not licensed to sell real estate all I can do at the open house is either pass the question on to the Realtor later or “point towards” the answer in the brochure or something. I would also be required to buy balloons, stick up signs, and bring some baked goods. At the end of the open house I would need to fax her the contacts sheet.

For my “hard work,” I would receive $18/hour, plus $20 that would replenish the money I spent on balloons and baked goods. Not bad for just a couple hours of work.

Santa Claus Rally

Here is a great article, Santa Claus Rally, posted over at The Curious Investors. It takes a look at how the stock market behaves around Christmas time. Give it a read.
